BUSINESS PROGRAMS WERE GRANTED ADVANCED LEVEL INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION

The School of Business at Etugen University first received accreditation for its undergraduate programs from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in 2014. Since then, we have successfully submitted biennial progress reports on institutional and programmatic activities.

In compliance with ACBSP standards and criteria, the university submitted a comprehensive self-assessment report for its business programs on July 10, 2024.

Subsequently, from October 6-9, 2024, an ACBSP expert team, led by Dr. Lori Becker, and including Dr. Gelsy Colon-Quinones and Dr. Tamatha White, conducted an on-site evaluation. During their visit, the team engaged with the university’s management, faculty, staff, and stakeholders, while verifying the evidence presented in the self-assessment report and examining the academic and research activities.

On November 18, 2024, the ACBSP's Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners reaffirmed the accreditation of five undergraduate programs including Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Food Production, and Tourism Management for a 10-year term, effective until July 15, 2034. This significant milestone was confirmed in an official letter from Dr. Lucie Depoo, Executive Director of ACBSP, stating:

“On behalf of the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners, we would like to inform you that reaffirmation of accreditation was granted to your business programs. Congratulations!”

The School of Business at Etugen University expresses its gratitude to all management, faculty members, staff, departments, and stakeholders for their commitment and collaborative efforts in successfully implementing and assessing these five undergraduate programs over the past decade. Congratulations to all involved on this outstanding achievement, and best wishes for continued success!
