Etugen University Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Technology

On April 20, 2026, Etugen University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Traditional Medicine and Technology (ITMT) to establish a strategic partnership in the fields of academic research, training, and innovation.

The Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed and ratified by Academician Ch.Chimedragchaa, Sc.D., Professor, Director of the ITMT, and Professor B. Batsereedene, M.D., Ph.D., Rector of Etugen University. Following the signing, both parties engaged in a productive exchange of views regarding future collaborative initiatives.

The signing ceremony was attended by Academician S.Nyamzagd, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Etugen University, and Ts.Munguntsetseg, Vice Director of the Training Policy and Coordination Office.

Objectives of collaboration:

The primary objective of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to establish a framework for conducting joint academic research in the field of traditional medicine, enhancing the quality of education, implementing innovation, and fostering a systematic exchange of mutual expertise.

Scope of collaboration:

Joint Research: Collaboratively implementing academic research and innovation projects.

Training and Practice: Providing students with practical training opportunities based at the Institute's laboratories and facilities.

Knowledge and Expertise Exchange: Organizing mutual exchange programs for faculty members and researchers to share professional experience.

Information Sharing: Exchanging current industry insights, updates, and research findings.

This collaboration holds significant importance as it opens up broad opportunities for Etugen University students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical application and to conduct world-class research in the field of traditional medicine.
