On June 12, 2026, the School of Dentistry at Etugen University welcomed Dr. Jason Wen-Chieh Kuo, President of the Academy of Oral Medicine of the Taiwan Dental Association. During his visit, Dr. Jason, Wen-Chieh Kuo delivered an advanced guest lecture for faculty and students titled "The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Revolution in Dentistry." During his lecture, he introduced the vast opportunities for integrating artificial intelligence into dental treatment, diagnostics, and treatment planning. He emphasized, "Artificial intelligence becomes the most powerful and effective tool only when it successfully bridges data with the right clinical decisions."

The presentation deep-dived into the core pillars of modern digital dentistry, facilitating a rich discussion on leveraging advanced visual tools for treatment risk assessment. Dr. Kuo further explored AI-powered radiographic diagnostics and image segmentation, the creation of 'digital patients' for virtual treatment simulation, the future of AI in restorative and rehabilitative care, and the strategic roadmaps for successfully integrating artificial intelligence into day-to-day clinical practice.

The distinguished gathering brought together prominent experts and academic leaders, including:

• Dr. Jason Wen-Chieh Kuo – President of the Academy of Oral Medicine, Taiwan Dental Association;
• Dr. B. Erdenesaikhan (MSc) – Deputy Director of Clinical Affairs at the Ulaanbaatar Municipal Dental and Maxillofacial Center;
• Dr. M. Nandin-Erdene (DDS, PhD) – Faculty Member at the School of Bio-Medicine, MNUMS, and Secretary of the Mongolian Dental Association;

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Ch. Bulgan, Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Etugen University, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Dr. Jason Wen-Chieh Kuo. Following the presentation, the visiting professor engaged in a dynamic Q&A session, answering questions and exchanging insightful ideas with the students.
