During the ceremony, Dr. B. Myagmarjav, initiator of the scholarship program, shared: "Би Этүгэн их сургуульд суралцаж байхдаа ""When I was a student at Etugen University, I dreamed of studying, working abroad, and becoming an internationally recognized physician. However, back then, I wasn't fully aware of the available opportunities or where to begin. Drawing from my 9 years of experience studying and working abroad, I thought, 'Why not make this path a bit smoother for the next generation of students?' Fulfilling my student dream, I launched this scholarship program in 2026 for selected 5th and 6th-year Traditional Mongolian Medicine students at Etugen University to undertake paid professional internships in the Russian Federation. The 'River of Life' Clinic fully covered the students' accommodation and local transportation expenses. By working in an international clinical environment, gaining hands-on experience, and deepening their passion for the profession, these students can help promote and advance Traditional Mongolian Medicine on a global scale. I believe that a single opportunity and scholarship can transform not just one student's life, but the future of an entire family—turning one person's dream into a shared aspiration for many. I didn't want to just open a door for myself; I wanted to leave it wide open for future generations of graduates."
