Within the scope of the goal of ecologically friendly sustainable development, the following activities are carried out:

Etugen University's policy of social responsibility and public participation provides compliance with relevant provisions based on the development strategy.

Among the environmental impact criteria, according to the QS ranking method of the International Organization of Higher Education, the following criteria were identified:

1. A sustainable development website launching as part of the strategic program
2. Energy efficiency
3. Water conservation
4. Waste recycling

Solar Energy Panel on the Building No.1 

• One of the major projects aimed at environmentally friendly sustainable development and modern advanced technology is a solar panel system covering the roof of the University`s Building No.1. The system capabilities are characterized by the potential for using a combined solar energy system with a capacity of 30 kW, accumulating power and electricity from sunlight.
• A culture has been established where recycling bins are placed in all classrooms for regular waste sorting. The proceeds from recycling are used to purchase sanitary and laundry cleaning products.
• Filtering pool and shower water with a special filter and utilizing it in a sludge reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 38.5 tons while saving 16.8 tons of clean water.
• Each year, faculty and students clean around the Selbe River and the Central Stadium during the Naadam Festival.
• Supporting the National Movement “Billion Trees”, initiated by the President of Mongolia, by expanding the plantations of endangered and medicinal plants in the territory of Kharztai Bagh, Erdene Soum, Central Province of Mongolia.
• More than 500 of seabuckthorn seedlings and complete irrigation equipment were donated to Ider Sum in Zavkhan province.
