The Educational Policy and Management Office and the International Relations and Cooperation Department are responsible for international student admissions at Etugen University.
For admission to Etugen University, a foreign national must have completed an education equivalent in both subject and standard to the education system in Mongolia.
The admission period for all study programs will be from May 1 to November 20 annually.
The fall semester commences in September, whereas the spring semester starts in January-February.

Student Visa and Residency Permit: An international student must get authorization to study at Etugen University before entering Mongolia.
Student visas for international students can only be obtained by an invitation from the University and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia.
To receive an invitation, fill out the completed form and e-mail it to Etugen University’s International Relations and Cooperation Department, along with a copy of your passport (international@etugen.edu.mn).
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science will issue study permission, and the Immigration Agency of Mongolia will provide a visa to enter Mongolia under the category of study permit.
To gain entry into Mongolian territory, you must submit an application for a single entry study (student) visa subsequent to receiving an invitation to study from the university.
The university requires the following documents to be compiled and submitted to international@etugen.edu.mn in order to issue a visa invitation (permit)
Above documents will be forwarded to the Immigration Agency of Mongolia in order to apply for a visa. The Immigration Agency of Mongolia will issue a visa permission to enter Mongolia and forward it to the Mongolian Consulate in your home country. International students, therefore, must advise us in advance of the country they will be receiving a Mongolian visa from.
An international student must register with the University’s International Relations and Cooperation Department Office within one day of arriving in Mongolia, and at the Immigration Agency of Mongolia within 48 hours (https://immigration.gov.mn).
Within 21 days of entering the country, an international student must apply to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Immigration Agency of Mongolia for a residency permit.
