On May 20, 2026, the official signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish Etugen University’s "Center for Digital Health" was successfully held at the Student HUB. The historic agreement was signed by Prof. Hong-Gee Kim, representing Seoul National University of the Republic of Korea, and Rector Dr. Prof. B. Batsereedene, representing Etugen University, officially cementing the partnership between the two institutions. The ceremony commenced with a grand and cultural opening, featuring a traditional Morin Khuur performance by medical student A. Odbayar.

Crucially, this initiative will unlock vast opportunities for our students to master international-caliber research and academic scholarship, ensuring they graduate as world-class, highly competent healthcare professionals.

Adding diplomatic and international weight to the event, Prof. Hong-Gee Kim of Seoul National University and Ch. Bataa of UNICEF Mongolia shared their insights during the ceremony. They underscored: 'This strategic alliance between two prestigious academic institutions extends far beyond expanding technical boundaries; it is set to catalyze the digital health transformation. Crucially, it will serve as a vital cornerstone for safeguarding child, youth, and public health, while driving the implementation of inclusive, technology-driven healthcare solutions.'
